Your privacy

This policy is written for the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. It is short because the site collects very little.
What this site collects
- Nothing you type. There are no forms, no accounts, no comments and no newsletter on this site.
- Server logs. The host that serves these pages records the usual request data: the page requested, the time, your IP address and browser type. We use it only to keep the site running and to see which pages are read. It is kept for the host’s standard period and not combined with anything else.
- No analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, no cookies of our own. The site sets no cookie. It loads no third-party script.
If you write to the address on the write to us page, we keep the message for as long as the conversation needs and then delete it. We do not add you to any list.
When you follow a link to Vegas Now
Links marked as leading to Vegas Now pass through an address on this site that redirects you to the operator. The operator may then know that you arrived from this site, and, if you join, may pay us a commission. From that point the operator’s own privacy policy applies to what you give it, including identity documents, and that policy names a company in Curaçao. We never see what you do on the operator’s site, and we never receive your name, your documents or your account details.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, which in nearly every case will be none, and ask us to correct or delete it. Write to the address above. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
If this page changes in substance, the “last checked” date at the top moves.
