How we test Vegas Now

Published · last checked

This site covers one casino. That makes the method simple to state and easy to check against.

1. The operator’s pages come first

Every figure about Vegas Now on this site, a minimum, a limit, a bonus percentage, a licence number, comes from a page the operator publishes: its payments page, its FAQ, its promotions pages, its terms, its footer. We read them on a stated date and list them in the Sources block at the bottom of the page that uses them. When two operator pages disagree, we say so and print both. What a review site, a forum or a “Login AU” copy says about Vegas Now is not a source here.

2. Then our own clock

Where we can, we do the thing and time it: register, upload documents, deposit, ask for a withdrawal, and note the clock time of each step and the date. Those timings are labelled as ours and dated. Where we have not done the step yet, the page says “not checked yet” in the author block, and the number on the page is the operator’s promise, labelled as such. On 29 September 2026 the operator’s site showed a country block from our location, so the pages of this site were written from the operator’s content and not from a live run; the live run is the first thing on the list.

3. Naming what we did not check

Each page with a key topic carries a line: what the author did for this page, and what is not checked yet. That line is not a disclaimer; it is the most useful sentence on the page for deciding how much weight to give the rest.

4. The verdict is one person’s

Hamish Clery writes the verdicts in the first person. A verdict names one recommendation and one condition, and it can be wrong; when it is, we change it and move the “last checked” date.

5. The commission does not touch the order

We earn a commission when a reader joins Vegas Now through a link on this site, and only then. Because the site covers one operator, there is no ranking to bend. The commission cannot change a limit, a licence number or a verdict; how it works is set out on the partners and commission page.

6. Dates on everything

Each page shows a published date and a last-checked date. The last-checked date moves only when we re-read the operator’s pages or redo a step, never for cosmetic edits. Bonus figures carry the date they were read, because promotions change and we do not promise to keep up with them week by week.

7. What we do not do

We do not host or link to APK files. We do not write “official” or pretend to be the operator. We do not publish ratings with stars or reader counts we did not collect. We do not tell you a casino is licensed in Australia, because none is.
